UTE Missing or Damaged Tyres
Created by Gavin Howard, last modified on Apr 14, 2021
If the spare tyre does not have the pink paint on it, you know that you will need to check the other tyres for your spare tyre as the hirer may have had a flat and changed the spare tyre and forgotten to tell you. The customer will need to be charged accordingly if the spare tyre is missing completely, damaged or needs a puncture repair. Damaged tyres will need to be taken straight to a tyre shop, repaired, and then put back on the unit with the original spare tyre put back in place with the pink paint visible. In the event the spare tyre has been replaced, please ensure you mark it with pink paint to keep it easily identifiable.
