Adding Additional Drivers

Once you've entered the Primary Driver's, (the *hirer's), *driving licence details, you'll see the 'Add another driver' button. Should you need to add an additional driver, clicking on that button creates a second form in which you can put the additional driver's driving licence details. When you come to check the hire amount later, you'll notice that the system adds the $10 daily charge for the additional driver.

The hirer and primary driver MUST be the individual paying for the hire. It has to be the hirer's credit card that is both validated and stored in the booking system and that is used for taking the payment through the point of sale register.

If the customer gives you a second card or for any reason the first card does not clear, you must first validate the second card by adding it to the hire. See Adding an Additional Credit Card.
