Hirer / Driver Blacklist

When you enter a hirer's driving licence details, the system performs a check against our internal blacklist. If the driving licence number matches a number on that list, the system will show alert:

'DO NOT HIRE: This driver's licence is blacklisted.'

As soon as you see that alert, you should call:

The office will then check to find out why the hirer's licence has been blacklisted and under normal circumstances, that means we will not hire to that hirer. They can contact the office separately if they feel that there's any kind of error with that blacklisting, but under normal circumstances, this is because there is an outstanding balance on a previous hire; the vehicle has had to be recovered or has been the result of some form of damage that again has not been paid for.
