To be able to drive a vehicle with Handy Rentals, the hirer must produce a valid driver's licence. You can accept an interstate driver's licence, however, you will need proof of local address where they are staying, which will need to be recorded as their current address. You will still need to put the address on their licence as their driver's licence address. You can accept an international driver's licence only if it is in English and is a laminated card, you can not accept a translation document; it has a photo on the card to prove identity is correct; it says it is a driver's licence and it has an expiry date on the licence.

[00:40:53] The hirer must be between the ages of 21 and 85 years old. The hirer must have a full driver's licence: no learners, provisional or special driver permits.
