Extending A Hire - FAST

Creating An Extension
Customer Present
Today Tab > Vehicles On Hire > Click 'Extend/Shorten' action button on desired hire
Enter the 'New Return Date & Time'
Check Availability
If available:
Take Payment at register
Payment Details: Paid - YES
Enter register receipt number
Enter Team Member name and ID
Click 'Extend/Shorten Hire'
Print & Sign
Click 'Done'
Customer Not Present
Today Tab > Vehicles On Hire > Click 'Extend/Shorten' action button on desired hire
Enter the 'New Return Date & Time'
Check Availability
If available AND the overall period of hire has not been extended for more than 24 hours:
Payment Details: Paid - NO
Enter Team Member name and ID
Click 'Extend/Shorten Hire'
Print & Sign
Click 'Done'
All extension charges have to be paid at the time of extension, i.e. in advance, unless the vehicle is being returned within 24 hours of the original return time. So extending up to 24 hours is okay to not take payment but if the hire period is extended beyond that 24 hours, the customer must come back into store and make payment.
