Re-book Overdue Pickup & Pickup - FAST

Check Availability for an Overdue Pickup (Re-booking)
Today Tab > Overdue Pickups panel > Click 'Re-Book' action button
Update the Pickup time in the related booking screen*
Ensure the vehicle is still available for the entire duration shown**
Click 'Reserve' (Quick Booking) or click 'Save' (Detailed Booking)
Check revised details

Returning to the dashboard, the reservation has now shifted back into 'Today's Pickups' and can be picked up from the 'Today's Pickups' panel. (See Picking Up A Reservation{linked-resource-id="1073676405" linked-resource-version="2" linked-resource-type="page"})
*The information you can amend when changing a reservation will vary according to how the reservation was created. All online bookings will appear as Detailed Bookings.
**The Vehicle Availability panel below the Pickup and Return date pickers lists the UTEs and vans available at your store and will automatically adjust to show the selected hire duration and any conflicting bookings will be displayed in red.
Pickup
Today Tab > Today's Pickups panel > Click 'Pick Up' action button on appropriate reservation
Check availability (see Checking Availability{linked-resource-id="1073578174" linked-resource-version="2" linked-resource-type="page"} )
Ask the customer to see their driving licence
Hirer / Primary Driver : Driving Licence
Enter the details from the driving licence:
Licence number
Place of issue
Expiry date
First, middle, and last name
Gender
Date of birth
Address*
Is the driver's licence a local driver's licence?

*If the hirer's driving licence does NOT show an address, they must provide an alternative proof of address: for example a recent (within the last 3 months) utility bill or bank statement. You should enter the hirer's address from the proof of address in place of the licence address.
Hirer / Primary Driver : Current Address
Ask the customer whether the address on the driver licence is their current address
If 'yes' (or the customer provided proof of address): 'Copy Address from Hirer', otherwise enter their new or current address details
Check that the hirer's mobile number that you have is correct
Check or enter the hirer's emergency contact number
Check the hirer's email address that you have is correct
Hire Options
Insurance Excess Reduction
Ask the customer, whether they want to take out the optional Insurance Excess Reduction policy at $37 a day to reduce the $4500 excess to either $750, aged 25 to 75, $1500 under 25 or $1750 if the hirer is over 75.Toll Pass (where available)
Does the hirer intend to use toll roads? If so, they need to purchase a Toll Pass at $12.50 a day - it's important to explain that they cannot purchase or pay for tolls in any other wayTowing (UTEs only)
Ask the customer whether they intend to use the vehicle for towing. Please ensure that they understand that our insurance does not cover trailers towed and that we do not permit the towing of horse floats, car trailers, furniture trailers, boats, or jet skis and that the maximum combined towing weight is 1000 kilograms.
Hire Charges
Enter your name and Team Member ID
Check that the estimated hire charges match the information you have entered
Click 'Confirm Charges & Pickup'
Validate Credit Card
Ask the customer for their credit card (or debit card with credit function enabled)
Enter card number
Enter name as it appears on the card
Enter 2 digit expiry month / year
Enter CVN from the back of the card
Click 'Validate Credit Card'
Once validated, click 'Continue'
Pickup Vehicle Condition Report
Under normal circumstances, there should be no change to vehicle condition since the last return and so you can skip this page:
Enter your name and Team Member ID
Click 'Save & Print Agreement'
Should you need to amend fields (other than the Fuel Level or Odometer Reading) in the Vehicle Status Report at pickup, click 'RECORD/ADJUST DAMAGE & EQUIPMENT' to unhide all fields
Print Pickup Agreement & Hire Documents
Print
Confirm that the agreement is signed and click 'Finalise'

Final Check : Key Tag Registration Number
Check rego on the key tag. If it matches click 'OK'
Check the details we now have for the hire
