Lane Depart Assist

Lane depart assist is a safety feature on the new model vehicles.

It will not allow you to leave your lane without indicating and is to stop veering off the road or into another lane or oncoming traffic.

[00:14:01] It can be turned off via a button on the dashboard. If the line depart assist senses, the vehicle is drifting out of the lane, including if the driver is changing lanes without using their indicator, it will adjust the steering wheel to pull the vehicle back into the current lane. If the driver engages the indicator, it will disengage lane depart assist, and it will allow the vehicle to freely move into another lane.
