UTE Refuelling

Every hirer must refuel the vehicle to the same level it went out with.

Keeping your UTE fuel tank full makes it much easier for the hirer to return the UTE with the same level of fuel.

On return, you'll need to sight the fuel receipt and check:

  • Fuel put in was unleaded

  • Receipt is dated today

  • Vehicle was refuelled locally to your store

  • Approximately 1 litre fuel used per 10km travelled

If the hirer has not refuelled, either:

  1. Send the hirer back to refuel (late fees may apply)
    or

  2. Charge $35 per empty quarter tank (or part thereof)

If the hirer has refuelled but has not provided a copy of the fuel receipt:

  • hold the deposit until you have confirmed correct operation of the ute.
