Deposits On Credit Function Only

A deposit on a credit card must be charged on the commencement of all hires. All deposits must be charged on credit function.

[00:19:42] This means on a credit card, or if it is a debit card, it must go through on a Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Please note, if the customer can 'payWave', then they have credit activated on their card. The team member needs to ensure that credit or Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit is selected and that it has not been paid on cheque or savings.

[00:20:05] If in doubt, check the payment description on the receipt that says it has been paid on credit. No cash deposits are allowable under any circumstances, cheques or savings equals a cash deposit. If a cash deposit has been taken, our insurance declines cover as the terms and conditions of hire have been broken.
